Privacy & Cookies

How CÔTE PRIVÉE handles personal information when you browse the site, contact us or purchase a service.

1. Data controller

The controller is Olga Kim, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as CÔTE PRIVÉE, 20 Rue Dante, 06000 Nice, France. SIRET 109 841 619 00017. Privacy contact: hello@coteprivee.fr.

2. Data we may collect

  • Contact information such as name, email address and telephone number.
  • Information you provide with a concierge request, such as dates, destination, party size, preferences and booking requirements.
  • Order and transaction information associated with purchases and memberships. CÔTE PRIVÉE does not receive your full card number from Stripe.
  • Communications and customer-support history.
  • Technical information required to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser/device information and access logs processed by the hosting provider.

3. Why we use data

We process personal data to answer enquiries, take steps at your request before entering into a contract, perform concierge services and memberships, deliver the Guide, administer payments and accounting, prevent fraud, manage complaints, comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the website and our services. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future.

4. Legal bases

  • Contract / pre-contractual steps: handling requests, purchases, memberships and service delivery.
  • Legal obligation: accounting, tax, consumer-law and compliance records.
  • Legitimate interests: website security, fraud prevention, service administration and the establishment or defence of legal claims, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent: where required, including any non-essential cookies or optional marketing communications introduced in the future.

5. Service providers and recipients

Personal data may be shared only as necessary with service providers supporting the business, including Webflow for website hosting, Stripe for payment processing, Google Workspace for business email and document administration, and suppliers when a booking request requires us to communicate the information necessary to arrange the requested service. Suppliers may act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

6. International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are handled using the safeguards made available by the relevant provider, such as adequacy mechanisms or contractual safeguards.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, the duration of the customer relationship, and any additional period required by accounting, tax, consumer or limitation rules. Enquiry data that does not lead to a contract is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably needed.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. To exercise a right, contact hello@coteprivee.fr. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

At launch, CÔTE PRIVÉE does not intentionally use advertising cookies or non-essential behavioural analytics on its own Webflow pages. Webflow may process technical logs and use technologies necessary to display, secure and operate the site. Essential technologies do not require the same consent as non-essential tracking. If CÔTE PRIVÉE later adds analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social-media tracking or other non-essential trackers, the site will request consent before those trackers are activated where required.

Stripe checkout. When you follow a purchase link, you leave the CÔTE PRIVÉE website and use a Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe may use its own cookies and process payment and anti-fraud information under its own notices and the payment services it provides.

10. External links and the private map

The site, Guide and private Google Map may link to third-party websites or services. Visiting those services is subject to their own privacy and cookie practices. CÔTE PRIVÉE is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

11. Security

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Updates

This policy may be updated when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The date below identifies the current version.
